Samsung sneak-peak at iPhone 5 & iPad 3 is denied by US Judge

As reported by the Gadget Helpline at the end of May, Samsung had requested permission to check out any sneaky business Apple were up to after similarities between the companies’ gadgets were reported – and now (as expected) the Korean tech-giant has been refused access to Apple’s iPhone 5 and iPad 3 by the US court.

US Judge Lucy Koh slammed Samsung’s demands for a glimpse at Apple’s unreleased gadgets as part of the ongoing patent row between the companies. The tech world’s best kept secrets will remain under wraps despite Samsung’s claims that the Jobs Squad are ripping them off behind closed doors – Doors that will for now remained closed.

Judge Koh states “Samsung is free to argue, for instance, that there is little likelihood of confusion because consumers will not encounter its products side-by-side with the iPhone 4 or iPad 2, but rather with Apple’s next generation iPhone and iPad”

Looks like Samsung will be waiting along with the rest of us for that elusive first look at both of Apple’s upcoming goodies. Maybe they should follow the Gadget Helpline blog? We’re covering all the latest on the iPhone 5 and iPad 3 as it hits!
