32GB Google Nexus 7 Jelly Bean Tablet sent to Japanese Customer

Whoopsie, a reported 32GB version of the Google Nexus 7 Android Jelly bean tablet has apparently been shipped to an unsuspecting Nexus 7 customer in Japan, which is shocking seeing as the Nexus 7 Tablet is only available in 8GB and 16GB versions.

Rumours have been circulating in recent weeks that Google will be shipping a larger 32GB version of their flagship Android tablet in the next few months but with Google opting to keep these types of ideas secret its not surprising that they have not confirmed the rumours.

But the shock arrival in one Nexus 7’s hands shows that Google may in fact have some 32GB versions ready to fly off the shelves. The Nexus 7  that the Japanese customer received is reportedly in full 16GB packaging but when the device arrived on Monday and the storage was checked the device has more than 26GB of free space in its settings.

So what it looks that someone has grabbed a Nexus 32GB from the wrong pile and shoved it in the box!

In recent weeks there has been more and more rumours of Google releasing an update Nexus 7 with the larger memory, Last week a mysterious 32GB version of the tablet appeared on the Carphone Warehouses internal stocking system which was then leaked online.

Plus the rumours that Google will launch to launch up to 5 new versions of the Nexus branded Android products in the next year to celebrate the Google Android OS’s 5th birthday, so the new 32GB nexus 7 could be one of these fabled 5.

Google is rumoured to launch a new 32GB model as soon as October 24th, however this could all be a large hoax by some tech head Japanese fan…
