Joining the Beats revolution on HTC mobiles will be the popular Sensation model, as a just leaked document reveals the spec and look of a ‘Special Edition 2’ variant which will deliver some ear-pleasing audio via HTC recent $300-million acquisition of Beats technology.
Following the HTC Vigor and HTC Runnymede which surfaced online this week, the Sensation gets a street-smart attitude adjustment in the leaked doc from an unspecified retailer. The Special Edition 2 will come with increased processing speed courtesy of a 1.5GHz Qualcomm CPU, a step up from the ‘standard’ model’s 1.2GHz dual-core. Appetising specs so far, but the main meal is, of course, the audio capabilities.
The music options are said to be vastly improved on the HTC Sensation Special Edition 2, which boasts a 4.3” Super LCD display, internal storage 4 times that of the preceding model – that’s 4GB of RAM, as well as potential to use up to 8GB on a microSD and a generous 1,730mAH battery to keep a massive selection of tunes pumping through those stylish Beats headphones.
For the snap-happy HTC also attaches an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and 1080p video capacity to the Sensation SE2.
Pricing on the leaked info reveals pricing for the Beats packing handset will be £520 sans SIM or offered free on a £35 per month 2-year contract.
