Wow, based on these figure released by Samsung it would seem that the Galaxy S II is doing very well indeed for the Korean electronics giant.
Samsung have in fact beaten their own record when it comes to the quickest selling smartphone; previously the Galaxy S managed to sell three million devices in 85 days, and then went on to sell ten million units a few months later.
And now, the successor to that popular smartphone has put that statistic to shame, as Samsung has managed to shift the same amount of units in only 55 days. Quite interestingly, that means that Samsung sold one Galaxy SII every 1.5 seconds.
So, let’s wait a couple of months to see if the Android powered beast manages to take over the world in that time.
