New LG Optimus Pro Android smartphone revealed

So it looks like LG have added yet another Android running smartphone to their popular Optimus range, this time a model which includes a QWERTY keyboard.

It would seem that LG are the latest manufacturer to have a go at releasing a BlackBerry-like device running Android, similar to the HTC ChaCha.

So what can you expect from the Optimus Pro C660? Well, according to the folk over at Eurodroid it will feature a 2.8” QVGA touch screen along with a 3MP camera on the back. At the moment there is no info as to what CPU it has, although based on the other specs it would seem that the smartphone will be a mid-entry handset so don’t expect anything too powerful.

The LG Optimus Pro has already made its debut in Italy, as you can already get your hands on the device there for €179 (around £160).
