Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, Wave 3 and Galaxy Note Devices Planned for September 1st Unveiling

Clues pointing towards three new Samsung devices, including a new 7.7-inch Galaxy Tablet and a new Galaxy smartphone have been uncovered.

Ahead of the IFA technology tradeshow in Berlin, Samsung released their Samsung Mobile Unpacked app for Android. The app gives you live access to watch their ‘Unpacked’ press event which is due to take place at the IFA event, starting September 1st. It’s almost a dead cert that Samsung will be unveiling some awesome new gadgets at the event, so the app is pretty handy, and free too.

A clever app developer has scoured through the files of the Unpacked app to see if any clues on the new products were to be found. This developer found some very, very interesting clues indeed.

Within the files and coding for the Unpacked app are three product logos which are for a set of products that we’ve not seen before. Did Samsung leave these images in the app on purpose?

The three product logos are for a Galaxy Tab 7.7, Wave 3 and Galaxy Note. We’ve heard before that Samsung were planning to launch a 7-8 inch Honeycomb tablet, so it looks likely that the 7.7-inch model could be fitting that bill quite nicely. Could it also feature the HD high resolution screen that Samsung have been developing too?

We saw the Wave 3 pop up on a leaked Samsung product roadmap just the other week, and it’s pretty clear to see that this will be the successor to the Wave and Wave 2 – a next-gen smartphone running Samsung’s own Bada OS.

The Galaxy Note, however, we have absolutely no idea of. The model name ‘Note’ makes two things spring to mind, music and writing. We’re hedging our bets on either a new Galaxy smartphone designed for music lovers, or perhaps a Galaxy-branded E-reader device. Either way, exciting times are ahead in the Gadget world!
