Sony Ericsson announced the new Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone early this year alongside the XPERIA arc. The neo was due to launch in April, however due to unforeseen circumstances as well as the devastating Japanese earthquake, production was pushed back and the expected release date was thought to be sometime in July.
Well, if you have been eager to get your hands on this little Android beauty, we have some good news as the XPERIA neo has managed to make it to shops here in the UK a bit before the expected July timeframe.
If you’re not that familiar with the specs, the neo features a 1Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 CPU, 320MB of RAM, 3.7-inch 854-480 pixel reality display and also a 8.1MP camera.
Prices for the neo range from £342 – £390, although no doubt you’ll be able to pick the handset up for free on various contracts.
