Well, here it is, new mobile communications company Fujitsu Toshiba have now officially unveiled the world’s first Windows Phone 7 device named the IS12T which runs the much talked about Mango update. In addition, the new IS12T will also be the first Windows phone 7 handset to enter the Japanese market.
The water proof phone is only 10.6mm thin and features a 3.7” TFT LCD screen, it also includes a 13.2MP camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8655 CPU (which also happens to be the same used in the HTC Thunderbolt), 32GB of internal memory, and also the usual connectivity features like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. When released, you will be able to get the IS12T in a selection of three colours as shown in the picture above.
The IS12T will be available in September on the KDDI network, although at the moment there has been no mention on pricing or contract plans.
Diginfo.tv have caught the handset on video, giving us a pretty good look Fujitsu and Toshiba’s first Windows Phone in action. We see Bing Maps and the browser in action as well as the new Camera feature in Mango. It all looks pretty sweet, and makes us wish this phone was coming to the UK!
