Specifications for a large screen HTC Android smartphone codenamed ‘T6’ have appeared online thanks to serial leakers @evleaks and with the Twitter account’s previous track record it’s hard to say that the specs that have come to light are fake.
The HTC T6 is looking set to be HTC’s rival to Samsung’s large scale Galaxy Note range of smartphones, sporting a 5.9-inch 1080p display and high-end specifications.
Sources close to HTC have said that the smartphone will carry much of the same design aspects as the HTC One which will see the phablet as a bigger brother alternative to the company’s flagship Android smartphone.

The device is also looking to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Note range of devices as the handset will come with a built in stylus (S-Pen to Samsung fans) and specific stylus-related features.
It’s thought that the handset will run the latest Android Jelly Bean software – possibly 4.3 – but there is some talk of the T6 sporting Google’s next OS, Android 5.0 ‘Key Lime Pie’, but with the OS not announced yet and the T6 rumoured for a late summer/early autumn release, we don’t see that happening.
We love the HTC One here so a bigger version with stylus gets a thumbs up from us!
