8-inch EE Harrier Tab Goes on Sale for £199

UK network EE has launched a new tablet which joins its own branded Harrier range of smart devices. The 8-inch Harrier Tab buyers will benefit from the company’s double-speed 4G data services and also an appealingly affordable price point of just £199.

Meet the Family.

Coming with the Google’s latest operating system running out of the box, the EE Harrier Tab offers an up-to-date Android experience with 5.0 Lollipop and the tablet features a respectable octa-core 1.5GHz 64Bit Qualcomm processor. That’s quite a powerhouse for the cost you’re paying and helps fulfil its intended purpose as a multimedia tablet. Especially when trying to keep up with 4G speeds clocked between 60Mbps and 150Mbps. Videos and web-browsing will not only be slick but should also look the business on the 8-inch HD touchscreen display.

The Harrier Tab also includes 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage for apps, photos, videos and more to be kept on-board the device and, if that seems a bit lowly, storage can be boosted using micro SD card (max capacity not stated.) Cameras on offer include an 8-megapixel rear shooter and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie capture and video calls. A generous 4,650mAh battery powering the Harrier Tab should keep it going the distance between charges.

The EE Harrier Tab is available free on tariffs starting at £18 per month and you can also buy outright for £199 on Pay As You Go. Find them in your local EE high street stores, as well as online from today.
