You may have already heard of the new social network orientated browser, if not, RockMelt is designed to easily integrate with Facebook and allow users to keep up to date with their friends, using a browser style interface.
RockMelt has been in private Beta since last November and although still in its development stage, the creators behind the new social network browser have now released a public Beta version allowing anyone to download it and give it a trial run.
It includes some really neat features that will ensure you easily keep on track with what’s going on with all your networked friends, so if you’re interested in what these features are, make sure you watch the demo video below.
RockMelt has been developed by Tim Howes and Eric Vishira, it’s also been backed by Netscape founder Marc Andreessen and is based on Google’s open-source project Chromium. So, if this sounds like your ideal browser, head on over to the RockMelt site to download the Beta now.
