Youtube users have been treated to a long and detailed demo of Samsung’s new Galaxy Tab 10.1, thanks to French site AndroidHD.
The video is entitled “One day with The New Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1” and seems like more of an unofficial advert for the device, though it does give us a great look at how speedy and smooth it runs with Google’s new Android Honeycomb OS and a Dual-Core processor.
Google Maps with 3D looks especially impressive in the video, with fast and smooth scrolling through both 2D and 3D mapping. Google’s latest incarnation of the Navigation app with turn-by-turn directions also looks neat on the 10.1 inch tablet.
The 10.1 tab looks very aesthetically pleasing as well, looking slim and sleek despite its 10.1 inch size. It’s certainly a massive improvement over the original Galaxy Tab which was quite chunky, and wasn’t too easy on the eyes.
Unfortunately we still don’t have an official release date for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 here in the UK, though we’re hoping to see it in the next month along with the Motorola Xoom.
Check the video below, do you like what you see? Will you be pre-ordering one?
