Official Playstation One games have started turning up in the Android Market, to coincide with today’s release of the Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY handset.
Sony have put up five official games; Syphon Filter, Destruction Derby, Cool Boarders 2, Medievil and Jumping Flash. The games are all priced at a reasonable £3.99, and can be downloaded from the Android Market on your Xperia PLAY, or via the PC Android Market.
Unfortunately it’s not all good news, as these PS One titles can only be downloaded to Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY handsets for now. It looks like other Android users will have to hope the titles will be made available for all Android devices soon, especially after the most popular PS One Emulator was removed from the Market yesterday.
