Sony Ericsson are looking set to unleash the latest XPERIA Neo on the world in the coming weeks if online retailers Clove and Expansys are to be believed.
The Neo was announced by Sony Ericsson at this year’s Mobile World Congress conference in February and since its initial announcement, information has been pretty quiet.
With the handset seemingly hitting shelves in the next few weeks, we may finally get our hands on the new Android 2.3 powered device which features a 3.7” FWVGA screen with a Bravia Mobile engine, Exmor R 8MP sensor camera, HD recording and a HDMI out port, all running off a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon processor.
Both Expansys and Clove have the device up for pre-order SIM free but with slight pricing variations with the usually pricier Expansys selling the phone for £429.99 and Clove shipping the device for a much cheaper £358.80.
Of course, things can change at any point and gadget retailers have a history of telling you the device is available then shipping the handset weeks later.
Networks are also likely to start stocking the device as a mid-high end smartphone so you can expect to get the handset free on £25 a month + contracts.
