Possibly the world’s worst-kept smartphone secret – the HTC Sensation – has landed!
Along with it comes a revamped and relaunched Sense User Interface, updating just in time to come hand-in-hand with the HTC Sensation and it’s a real user-friendly visual treat.
Sense UI really does put the senses to use in HTC Sensation with 3D icons and widgets with 360 degree carousel-style menu bringing a great depth and a heavily graphical style to the interface this will makes it easy to navigate and rotate through all the features, rather than the tiresome scrolling through menus.
The sharp and bright visual displays with Sense UI allow quick and simple browsing of everything from the music player, to email previews, to contacts and the weather. These displays fill the HD screen and can be sampled in HTC’s launch video for the Sensation.
Another smart feature allows the user to drag-and-drop icons from the locked handset screen for direct and quick access to favourite apps.
The new Sense UI works in harmony with the Android platform that comes onboard the HTC Sensation and rumour has already surfaced as to whether the user interface will make a leap onto other gadgets in the HTC range. We can expect an appearance for the updated Sense UI on the upcoming tablet HTC Flyer – and can only imagine the potential when this hits the surface of the 7-inch slab in May.
