LG has officially announced the LG Optimus Big, and it features the biggest screen on a smartphone that LG have ever manufactured.
A whopping 4.3-inch NOVA display gives the smartphone its ‘Big’ moniker. The Optimus Big runs on Android 2.2 (FroYo), features a 1GHz processor, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, HDMI out, 5MP camera and a 1500mAh battery.
The main selling point of the Optimus Big is the NOVA display, which is very bright, crisp and colourful. We have to say though, for a smartphone with such a big screen, the battery capacity doesn’t look to be sufficient. We will have to wait and see though, as the Optimus Big is currently only slated for a Korean release on April 28th.
