The world’s most saught after Laptop range, the MacBook Pro, is in line for a major overhaul according to reports on the internet and rumours are already circulating that we could see the Pro range becoming substantially slimmer, and will even come with solid state hard drives for the first time.
Its been almost 3 years since Apple introduced the new aluminium design to the MacBook family, which has been a major success for Apple.
The aluminium design helps with manufacturing costs, keeps the inside nice and cool, and Apple even added new battery tech to make the Pro last almost 8 hours.
But what can we expect for this latest overhaul? Well it’s likely to be even more than the previous speed boost that was found a few months ago.
The Macbook Pro range already received a facelift this February, adding new, faster Intel processors and the new superfast Thunderbolt i/o connection. You can read more about the current range here. But we expect the overhaul to go a whole lot further this time, rather than a refresh rumours are suggesting an all-new design.
The MacBook Pro line is set for a full redesign with insiders already speculating the refresh will make it the best laptop Apple has ever produced – both in aesthetics and power.
While details are sketchy at best, if you look at the recent device changes from Apple it would be a safe bet that it will have substantially thinner form factor and probably with solid state drives a la the new MacBook Air.
