Asus has leaked some snapshots of an unknown tablet device, whetting our whistles ahead of the forthcoming Computex event which is set to take place later this month.
We’ve got no technical specifications yet, and just 3 snaps to go on, but we can gather some information from what we see, and of course add some speculation into the mix. From the selection of images, the tablet will be pretty slim with a slightly raised section in the middle on the back of the tablet. This raised section looks to be finished in glossy black, and encompasses a rear camera of some description.
There’s also an area of perforation to the right of the raised area – we’d say this indicates the placement of some stereo speakers. The tablet bears AsusDesign in several places as opposed to just ‘Acer’ which we saw on the Eee Pad Transformer, so perhaps Asus have teamed up with a design studio to create a super stylish tablet.
That’s all we’ve got for now, at least until Asus reveal the device at the Computex event at the end of this month. It’s more than likely that this unknown tablet will be Android based, and we’re betting it will be another Honeycomb tablet to add to Asus’ repertoire.
