Activision’s Call of Duty franchise just seems to get bigger every year with its mammoth games franchise switching between two main developers (one year Infinity Ward the next Treyarch) and this year it’s back to the Modern Warfare arm with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 which is co-developed by Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games.
In the past few weeks we’ve seen leak after leak after leak for the game and quite frankly… we have loved every morsel of information that has come from these titbits of leaked information.
Yesterday it would seem that Activision has started to dot its I and cross its T by releasing a new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 gameplay trailer.

We know from the initial teaser trailers that the next Modern Warfare will be a globetrotting extravaganza but seeing brief sights of the American, English, German and French landscapes being turned into a warzone looks awesome!
Activision has also cleared up the elusive release date with the trailer, and we can now confirm that Modern Warfare 3 will be released on the 8th of November 2011 for the Sony Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360.
