Remember last week when we all rejoiced that the Playststion Network was back up after over a month of “Downtime”…
Well be prepared for a little more downtime as Sony has announced that the PSN will undergo essential maintenance today (Tuesday 24th May, from 16.00PM- 00.00PM GMT), according to the Technical Support Moderator for the EN PlayStation community.
During this period the following services will be unavailable:
- PC registration
- Console Storefront
- PS3 Account Management
- PS3 Network Account Registration
- PSP Network Account Registration
- Qriocity Account Management
Users have been told that if they attempt to log on during this time they’ll receive the site maintenance notification.
However, if you’re already signed in before 16:00, then you should be able to stay connected during the maintenance.
Hopefully this is all just to finish up the security updates that got Sony into this sort of issue but we can only guess.
Either way prepare for another online gaming free night.
