It’s only been little over a week since Skype went down globally – and we’re not the only ones who’ve been jilted again today. Looks as though Microsoft’s latest acquisition is once again having some “down time” from Windows and Mac OS with tweetards worldwide in uproar over yet another blunder affecting our chat and video calling.
Your loyal Gadget Helpline blog-heads were knocked out of Skype at around 11:30 UK time, with those familiar error messages that appeared last time when attempting to log-in again. We got a little further this time and could actually get to the log-in screen which took forever to do… …nothing in particular!
It then reported that “Skype can’t connect”. Big surprise!
The Skype website is up and running but unlike last week nothing has been announced about this latest problem or any kind of solution and a number of Twitter users are reporting the “Shared.xml” fix which was suggested and worked with the previous outage is of no solution today.
We’ll keep you updated on this problem and as always we will be on hand to share a solution when one surfaces. Sit tight!
