Well it’s officially been a whole month since the HTC Sensation was released in the UK, meaning that Vodafone’s one month exclusivity deal with the handset is over.
Three UK are the first network out of the gates to confirm they have the Sensation available now, offering it for free on a £37 per month, 24 month contract. That £37 a month gets you a massive bundle of 5000 texts, all you can eat (unlimited) internet data and 2000 anytime, any network call minutes.
The HTC Sensation is the newest Android smartphone in HTC’s armoury, and it does everything you could possibly imagine a smartphone to do, and a bit more. A 1.2GHz Dual-Core processor coupled with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) makes it extremely fast and smooth to use, being able to multitask between apps such as email, messaging, games and calling with ease.
The front of the handset is dominated by the large 4.3-inch QHD High Resolution Touchscreen which plays HD movies at 720p perfectly. There’s also an 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and 2x LED flash which also records video at 720p HD quality.
Along with Android 2.3 you get the latest HTC Sense 3.0 user interface, currently exclusive to the Sensation smartphone. With Sense 3.0 you’ll be able to add your four most used apps to the lockscreen, and unlock your phone straight into one of your favourite apps simply by dragging the unlock circle onto the icon.
