Hewlett Packard’s 9.7” TouchPad will be upon us shortly – within the week in fact – and now we’ve heard speculation that a few weeks later, in August, it will be joined by a little sibling – a fully-functioning 7” version.
Packing WebOS 3.0 as standard, the 9.7” HP TouchPad features a 1.4GHz Processor and 1024x768P display with 1.3MP webcam, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Little bro is expected to come running along with competitive features and functions, only in a slightly more compact 7” physique.
We know that HP’s larger model will come in at around £399 for a 16GB Wi-Fi only version and £479 for a full-fat 32GB version (according to Carphone Warehouse). No word how the 7” TouchPad will match up price-wise, but since this is purely hearsay at the moment as no details have been confirmed.
The 9.7″ HP TouchPad is released this Friday, June 24th.
