UK mobile network Orange has announced that it will be giving away one free app every day throughout July to its customers who use Windows Phones.
Both contract and pay-as-you-go customers will be entitled to a free app each day, which will appear in the ‘Orange Selects’ category on the Windows Phone Marketplace.
Orange says that the promotion will give its customers the chance to try out a series of premium pre-paid apps as well as free ones, in a range spanning app categories such as Lifestyle, Travel and Games.
If you’re on the ball and download all 31 apps, Orange claim you’ll be making a saving of £70. We’re not ones to sniff at free stuff, so you can rest assured that we will be hunting out the best free apps this month.
Neil Holroyd, Senior Multimedia Product Manager, Everything Everywhere, said: “We’ve been working with Microsoft to provide a more enriched app experience for our Windows Phone customers. By offering a selection of the most popular apps for free, we hope to continue to enhance our customers’ smartphone experience by allowing them to try something new.”
