It’s taken a while (around 75 days by our count) but the Playstation Store will be back in Japan this Wednesday, restoring all PSN and Qriocity services in full.
Sony hasn’t stated why the Japan network’s full restore and reinstatement of the Store took so long following the intrusion and outage of the Playstation Network all the way back on April 20th. However, it has been suggested that strict security demands from the Japanese government and credit card companies have hindered the progress. It’s finally coming, and this week no less.
More than a month after the United States and United Kingdom had both online stores returned in full –with an abundance of freebies and discounted goodies on offer – the PSN, along with Qriocity streaming music and media, will be back in the motherland!
