iPhone 5 release date confirmed by Apple job listing?

  • by
When it comes to iPhone 5 release date rumours, you can cling on to just about anything as evidence of specific launch times. While many have stated that the next Apple phone will hit stores in September, a new job listing from Apple has suggested otherwise…

According to job site Reed, Apple is seeking ‘Full time iPhone sales staff’ on a countrywide basis from August 16th until October 29th. While the iPhone’s release date could well fall at any time between those dates, many are saying that the iPhone 5 will in fact launch on the former.

If the iPhone 5 does launch on August 16th, it won’t give Apple any time to train its new staff, but one thing is for sure: the company is definitely upping its staff headcount ahead of the next big unveiling, whenever that may be.
