It’s official, Spotify has landed in America to much fanfare and appreciation. In case you missed the lowdown on the launch of the music streaming service, catch our write-up here.
Spotify launched with a select list of partners in the US: Coca-Cola and Sprite, Chevrolet, Motorola, Reebok, Sonos and The Daily. We already know that Spotify has a deal with Sonos for music streaming using their incredible wireless home sound systems, but what are Motorola up to playing nice with Spotify?
We’re expecting Spotify to be exclusively pre-loaded on future Motorola smartphones and tablets, but for now it seems Moto and Spotify have got another prerogative: giving away as many free invites as possible.
That’s right folks; Motorola and Spotify have got no fewer than 10,000 free invites to give away to US listeners. All you’ve got to do is head over to the signup page here and fill out a few details, sit back and keep your fingers crossed for that all important invite.
I’m a massive fan of Spotify and have been using it in the UK since the initial beta, back when it was invite only and you weren’t limited to 10 listens per song and 10 hours streaming per week (ahh, those were the days). Upgrading to Spotify Ultimate to use the service on my iPhone was the best decision I’ve made in recent times. Offline playlists are a godsend, the app is very simple to use and unlimited streaming is great.
So if you’re based in the US and you want in on Spotify, head over to the Motorola page here and sign up!
