Samsung has launched an exclusive version of its Android Galaxy Player 70 Media Player, complete with the Chelsea FC logo and a replica shirt as part of a bundle.
Only 100 of the devices have been made so you’ll be very, very lucky indeed to get your hands on one. Asides from the Chelsea FC logo on the back of the device and the replica team shirt you’ll get bundled with the Media Player, there’s very little different from the normal device.
Splashing out £233 will score you a 16GB version of the Samsung Galaxy Player 70 and a replica Chelsea FC shirt – though not with ‘Samsung’ printed as the player name on the back, as we first thought.
We’ll get down to the nitty-gritty tech info now; The Galaxy Player 70 is a cross between the Samsung Galaxy S II and their 7-inch Galaxy Tab. It’s a Media Player running Android 2.2 (FroYo) with a 5-inch screen, perfect for videos, web browsing and games. You can get them in 16 and 32GB storage variations, though the limited edition Chelsea FC model is 16GB only. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are also onboard for wireless connectivity.
How do I get my hands on a piece of Chelsea FC gadgetry like this? We hear you avid footy and tech fans scream. Well, to be in with a shot you need to register for Samsungs “on-site lottery”. If you head over to www.samsungmobile.com and apply for the Samsung Mobile Out event, you’ll be entered into the lottery.
We wish you the best of luck!
