We’ll take a tea break from the gadgetry news for a few minutes to show you this amusing set of hot drink holders. Based on a familiar keyboard shortcut for us tech aficionados, you can now sup your tea, coffee or other choice of stress-busting beverage from Ctrl-Alt-Del themed mugs!
ThinkGeek is selling the 8 ounce key-shaped plastic mugs for only $11.99 per set (less than £7.50 British) – that includes all three mugs and a 10.5-inch ultra-geeky circuit-board motif base to keep them all in sequence when you’re not taking five to reboot your own personal operating system.
Only a couple things about this set subtract from their awesomeness:
They’re not made of ceramics, like a normal mug. They’re made of a hardwearing dishwasher safe polymer, but there’s no word if the mugs are microwavable. We’d guess not, so drink up while it’s hot.
Also – an important word of warning concerning health and safety in the office – is that the shortcut mugs are missing a handle! So we’d imagine it’s not going to be a very easy task navigating to your desk with a delete key full of boiling beverage!
