The specs of the handset however do not reflect the cheap price tag as for the price users will get a nippy 1GHz processor a 3.2-inch 640 x 360-pixel touchscreen display, a 5-megapixel camera, 2GB of storage and HSPA data connectivity.
The handsets are also not too bad on the ey as they come in a variety of colours and are have sleek and minimal design. The Nokia 500 also weighs in at just 93 grams, making it the lightest Symbian smartphone to date.
The biggest issue with the Nokia 500 is Nokia’s continued use of the outdated and more importantly unpopular Symbian operating system which seems so far away from other Smartphone OS’s that it is competing with.
