If you’re an early adopter of the HP TouchPad then you’re in luck, as HP has released the first software update for the 9-7-inch WebOS 3.0 Tablet.
HP has promised that hundreds of improvements have been made in the new software version, which is available to download straight to the TouchPad now through Wi-Fi.
WebOS 3.0.2 is the new version of software and it carries a host of improvements, new features and fixes. Initial reviews of the TouchPad were good, though some lamented the tablet due to a lack of speed in certain aspects. HP says they have improved greatly upon this with the new software.
Among the new features is the ability to set your desktop wallpaper from the native Photos app, something which was strangely missing in the software that came with the TouchPad when it was released last month.
Improvements have also been made to the over-sensitive auto screen rotate and the native Calendar, Email and Music apps. Check out the full list of changes and improvements below.

- Fixed issues with oversensitive screen rotation
Security
- This release addresses a number of security issues with HP webOS software.
