Sony’s PlayStation Network will once again be down today from 5pm GMT for some scheduled maintenance, which will see some users not be able to go online and access the PSN services.
The PlayStation Network is offline for scheduled maintenance from 17:00 on Monday 17 November 2014 until 23:00 GMT or 9am PT / 12pm ET for 6 hours.
As per usual, During this time you’ll be unable to access the PlayStation Store, PSN Account Management or Registration services, along with Entertainment services.
Those gamers who have signed in within the last 48 hours will still be able to access the online functionality of PSN, including partner apps as well as the ability to play online games. If you don’t sign in before maintenance starts however, you’re stuck with offline gameplay and apps until the maintenance is over. Sony made the official I statement on their http://uk.playstation.com/psnmaintenance/ website:
During the maintenance, you will be unable to access the following services:
- PlayStation Store on all devices.
- PlayStation Network Account Management.
- PlayStation Network Account Registration.
- Entertainment services.
Online gameplay – however, you may still play online if you are already signed into your SEN account via the relevant device before the maintenance begins.
In addition, you will not be able to sign in to PlayStation Network from eu.playstation.com.
During this maintenance, you can continue to collect in-game trophies and these will be updated on your profile once PlayStation Network is back up and running.
If you have any questions about this down time, feel free to visit the official PlayStation Forums at community.eu.playstation.com where you can post your query and a member of the Community Team will get back to you.
