Black Friday has passed but if you missed a sweet deal, fear not because today is Cyber Monday – promising even more savings on gadgets and technical goods, including the Amazon Fire HD 7 tablet which is now only £99.
The Amazon-made 7-inch tablet is now discounted by £20 through the online department store bringing the entry point model down to below £119 for the first time since its release in September 2014. The Fire HD 7 basic model comes with 8GB of memory, 1.5GHz quad-core processor with visuals displaying in HD with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution with Dolby audio.
The touchscreen is also protected by Gorilla Glass so can take a bump if needed and the Fire HD7 comes with front facing VGA camera and a 2-megapixel rear camera. Fire OS 4 ‘Sangria’ is included and is a forked version of Android.
The only minor catch to get the Fire HD 7 at the low price of £99 is that you do need to agree to receive Amazon ‘special offers’ which means your home screen and lock screen will display offers from the retailer. You can opt not to receive these screens but the tablet will then cost £109.99, so a slightly lesser saving.
You can also double the storage with the 16GB Fire HD 7 on offer as well, with all the same specs as the 8GB model at a cost of £109 with special offers or £119 without. Both models are available now as part of Amazon Cyber Monday in a selection of colours including Black, Citron, Cobalt, Magenta and White.
