Vodafone has opened up its U.K pre-ordering for HTC’s smashing new smartphone flagship, the One X – which features impressive quad-core processing and its slimmed down dual-core pal, the One S. Both models run with brand new Android update, 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The HTC One X is available in standard grey finish or white and comes free on contracts costing £41 per month for a minimum of 24 month. For this fee customers will get 900 minutes, unlimited texts and generous 1GB of data through 3G. For a cheaper £26 contract which comes with just 250MB data the HTC One X can be yours for £299 up front. And of course the terrific tech itself includes NVIDIA’s 1.5GHz quad-core Tegra 3 CPU, 4.7” qHD touchscreen and 8-megapixel camera with HTC ImageSense and 1080p HD video output. The handset is also one of first in the HTC line up to be complimented by the HTC Sense 4.0 user interface complimenting Android ICS.
The HTC One X will be joined on Jedi Master Yoda‘s favourite network Vodafone by the HTC One S which also comes free on contracts costing £36 upwards or for £199 on the £26 per month plan. The handset arrives with a 1.5GHz dual-core motor, 4.3” Super AMOLED touchscreen display and also runs Android’s newest update with HTC Sense.
The HTC One series will visit a number of cities including Seattle, New York, Miami, San Paolo, London, Rome, New Delhi, Bangkok and Jakarta as part of a World Tour and hands on try-out.
