Tesco Entertainment has focused on its gaming customers in its latest email circular which delivers some of the offerings which wowed us from the recent E3 Expo. Highly-anticipated titles such as HALO 4 and Call of Duty: Black Ops take the spotlight as the online retail division of the supermarket chain outlines its pre-order deals on some of this year’s hottest upcoming games!
Firstly, Tesco comments on the new Nintendo “living room revolution” – the Wii U. Despite no price or release date given the retailer gives a brief introduction to the home console including the innovative 6.2” HD display touchscreen controller, wide range of HD games with mention to New Super Mario Bros U, LEGO City Undercover, Batman: Arkham City and ZombiU – as well as how existing Wiimote controllers can be used with the new hardware. You can sign up with Tesco to be notified when the Wii U goes on sale.
Tesco Entertainment has also picked out five specific gaming titles which made an impact at the E3 two weeks ago, and these are now available to pre-order online. Continuing sci-fi shooter HALO 4 is scheduled for a November 6th release and can be purchased today for £37.94 this includes a Tesco exclusive “Raptor Armoured Skin” and HALO 4 T-shirt. FIFA 13 is also on the list available on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 for £42.91. The latest in the popular footie franchise ships in September and on the Microsoft platform the game can be played with Kinect for a new FIFA experience!
One that we’re all excited about after the news was leaked back in May is the next instalment of the Call of Duty series. Black Ops 2 takes place in the recent past and the soon-to-be future and features sci-fi inspired weaponry which appeared in viral videos even before the game was made official. For £42.94 the latest in the first-person shooting, real-time strategy series can be bought now in time for November 13th on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 and pre-order buyers get a free T-shirt.
Next up is Hitman Absolution. This killer sequel recently got into hot water over its promotional use of PVC-wearing assassin nuns starts at £37.94 for both Microsoft and Sony systems this November with bonus “Sniper Challenge”. And completing Tesco’s line-up is the psychological action thriller Beyond: Two Souls, which stars Hollywood actress Ellen Page and costs £37.97 following in early 2013 for PS3.
