The New soon to be released Star Wars: Battlefront will have us all firing like storm troopers whether we like it or not. That is to say you will be shooting from the hip when the game lands on November 17, because Star Wars: Battlefront won’t feature iron sights aiming.
That’s according to DICE Executive Producer Patrick Bach, they have said this decision is because of the studio’s goal to distinguish Battlefront from other major shooters. Which all have iron sights, to me this seems an odd way to distinguish yourself.
“There are no iron sights in Star Wars, on the ordinary blasters,” Bach said. “You have scopes on some rifles, but there are no iron sights.”
“We’re not taking into account what we’ve done before,” Bach said regarding the studio’s other major shooter, Battlefield. “I think that would be disrespectful to the fans, and to what we’re trying to achieve here. A lot of the things you saw in the game have nothing to do with anything we’ve done before. Some features of course resemble, because we want to make the best possible shooter, but in general we’ve tried to do something completely unique.”
They’ve done a pretty good job of keeping details for the Star Wars shooter under wraps, but they are drip feeding us information: the game will feature 12 multiplayer maps and will boast a maximum of 40 players per match.

Stormtroopers blasters all have sights on them. the poster literally shows botha s cope and iron sights on one. Do your research before making this game please.
