Patience is definitely a virtue which all modern smartphone buyers should have learnt by now with the inevitable selection of colours and variants that follow a top-of-the-range release – especially when it comes to buying from Samsung.
The market leader in revamping of its popular products has done it again with the Galaxy S6 by introducing a couple more jewels to the collection in the form of the Blue Topaz and Green Emerald models which were just shown off on the Samsung Tomorrow blog.
If you’ve already rushed out and bought your S6 you might want to look away now (or risk involuntarily kicking yourself.)
Price and release schedule is yet to be confirmed but we know that Blue Topaz will only be available for the standard flat screened Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Green Emerald is reserved exclusively for the curved screen Galaxy S6 Edge.Both will soon join the original line-up which was released on April 10th and included White Pearl, Black Sapphire and Gold Platinum and carry the exact same specs and features as the predecessors. All are available with 32GB, 64GB and 128GB storage options.
Samsung believes these fashionable and functional new additions will reflects their users and says that those owning the Blue Topaz are “likely to be more self-confident, fastidious, discriminating, sensitive, exacting, and intuitive”.
Whereas those opting for the Green Emerald will “tend to be balanced, loyal, hard-working, honest, benevolent and concerned for other” and “may aspire to be good citizens with a highly-developed moral sense and a desire for simplicity”. Deep stuff.
But if you do want a Samsung Galaxy S6 in shiny Blue Topaz or Green Emerald finish you better act fast or you might just have to following the yellow brick road to get one when the appear in very short supply.
