LEGO Jurassic World Free Demo Available for Xbox One

  • by

Xbox One owners can now visit Jurassic World as never seen before – and the best bit apart from the incredibly cool dinosaurs is that it’s all built out of LEGO and it’s also completely free to try!

Xbox Director of Programming Major Nelson has opened the world’s most ambiguously insured and genetically modified theme park and is allowing gamers to enjoy a sample of LEGO Jurassic World, which is not only based on the recent blockbuster but also features storylines and playable famous scenes from all four movies including the original Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park III and Jurassic World – and yes, they have a T-Rex!

I’ve played the LEGO Jurassic World game on Nintendo 3DS and like preceding LEGO titles such as Star Wars it’s a real romp in the park. It’s pure silly fun for all ages, replacing some of the more frightening and violent moments with slapstick (or slap-brick) comedy.

Once you’ve tackled each set of scenes from a movie you are then free to roam using a number of characters from across the series so, for example, you can explore Jurassic World with Dr Grant, and the game even features some original voiceovers from the flicks (I literally lol’d when I heard the Ian Malcolm “raa-haa-haa-haa” from JP1.)

Now is the chance to experience it for yourself in non-prehistoric HD graphics at no cost on Xbox One – but we think once you step into LEGO Jurassic World you’ll want to enjoy the full game and its available now in the Xbox Game Store for £44.99.

Demo size 1.65GB / Full game 14.63GB
