We’re still recovering from that fantastic final Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer which was released on Monday and our tickets are now booked for the earliest possible screening in glorious 3D. Box offices have been blowing up this week with demand for seats to witness the return of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Chewie alongside a new generation of rebels and villains and while we’re still trying to manage our excitement RealD has revealed some spectacular 3D specs with which to celebrate the movie in style!

Announced on Twitter this week, RealD has showcased four sets of collectable glasses which we hope will be issued at UK screenings of Episode VII* as well as those in the United States. The glasses are suitable for the highly anticipated Star Wars film and also any film requiring the use of RealD 3D eyewear. They feature cool designs based on the helmets of the new First Order Stormtroopers, as well as their leader Captain Phasma, new masked main baddie Kylo Ren and also that cute rolling droid BB-8.
*We’re unsure yet whether these will be free handouts or whether some Jedi mind tricks will be needed to snag them, but we’ll certainly be keeping our eyes on the RealD3DUK Twitter which is confirmed to have some more news on the Star Wars specs very soon!
