Many Xiaomi fans are left waiting in anticipation for further details regarding the Mi Drone after a teaser recently dropped suggesting the aerial gadget will be “flying in to town” as of 25th of May!
The dark, sleek and somewhat mysterious looks keep to the usual refined Xiaomi style and the drone is set to fly from this Wednesday. Like many drones nowadays, it’s expected to have the obligatory camera which will be able to record in a 4K resolution at 30fps – offering a high quality birds-eye view from the drone itself.
The Mi Drone product features and specifications are rife with rumours and some of them sound absolutely brilliant. For example the UAV (or Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) being able to follow a user with the Mi Band but so far Xiaomi have kept schtum, revealing little to nothing following the initial teaser post.
This year has been huge for Xiaomi following the announcements at Google I/O with the likes of the Mi Max 6.44 inch smart phone and the Mi Box Streamer over in the states and the confirmation of working towards the Android Daydream VR
More will be known following the Xiaomi live stream on the 25th of May at 7:00 Monday, Eastern Time 12:00 Monday, British Standard Time on Mi.com.
