In other tech-related riot news – Sony has kindly offered to provide a PSP and games to the young man who became an infamous figure, symbolising the anarchy which swept UK streets, when he was helped and then mugged by cowardly thugs during the London raids.
In the clip which swept the news and disgusted a nation, the youngster named Ashraf Haziq was seen bloody-faced and hunched on the floor, then to have a group of youth assist him to his feet – only to then empty his bag of all its contents, including a Sony PSP handheld, before fleeing the scene.
Sony Europe has reached out with the gesture with a plea from Playstation UK Marketing Director Alan Duncan reading “[We’d] like to give him a new PSP and games. Let me know the best way of getting in touch with Ashraf or the hospital. Thanks.”
