The big news going around the Android world is still Ice Cream Sandwich, but now it has moved to when or how will people get their device updated to receive some ICS love.
Unfortunately not all devices are going to be graced with ice cold delight that is Ice Cream Sandwich, not officially anyway. We don’t yet know what handsets are going to get the update, but you can be sure that there will be lots of devices, not meant to be running the shiny new software strutting their stuff, saying look at me and my ICS.
The latest device to be added to the growing list of Ice Cream Sandwich ports, is the old faithful Samsung Galaxy S. The port is in alpha stage, and it is currently not quite usable. However, it shows the power of the Android development community once again. The fact that again this port has come from the SDK (Software Developer Kit) is astounding and once the source code is out we should see ICS flooding to a lot more devices.

As always we will be keeping a watchful eye on this one and keeping you up to date with any future developments.
