Hijackers Take On MW3 Delivery Trucks Fast And Furious Style

Call of duty Modern Warfare 3 is the biggest ever entertainment release, Fast and Furious is a series of films centered around a group of street racers who like to hijack certain things to keep them living the life of luxury.

Well just out side of Paris there have been a couple of incidents involving some real life hijackers who have decided they really want MW3 and don’t want to wait.

The first incident happened just to the south of Paris, when a truck was taking fresh stock of the latest  Call of Duty game to Micromania stores. The hijackers crashed into the side of the delivery truck making sure it would be going nowhere. As the driver and his colleague got out of the truck to assess the damage the thieves wearing masks and waving knives, tear-gassed the driver and his colleague then jumped in the van and drove away.

There was then a similar incident to the north west of Paris, a second truck also heading to Micromania stores was stopped by a vehicle blocking the road, three hooded assailants then used weapons to take control of the truck and drove away.

There is no evidence that the two hijackings are connected, but both trucks were headed to the same chain of stores, and both got there stock from the same warehouse.

the total amount of stolen goods was worth over £668,500 that’s not bad for a days work (not that this should be a chosen line of employment).

I’m sure this small loss will not affect the overall success of the game considering it is at the moment the biggest entertainment release ever. At least until next year when the next COD is released. Then that will be the biggest entertainment release ever.
