Acer have taken its new Liquid line of handsets and has announced yet another Android Smartphone to the range in the form of the Acer Liquid Express with NFC handset.
The Acer Liquid Express will come with a 3.5 inch HVGA screen and will be power5ed by a budget Qualcomm 800MHz 7227 processor. It will also include 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, run Android Gingerbread operating system with Acer stating that it will be upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich OS update eventually..
Standard features such as Wi-fi, Bluetooth, GPS and Micro USB ports are all included as well as a nifty NFC capability allowing the device to offer card and cashless payments via your smartphone.
The phone is set to coming to Orange for free at a £24 per month 2 year contract and contact £15.32 per month with T-Mobile.
The Liquid Express will be available in titanium, and from now on, Acer says all its phones will carry NFC technology.
Whilst not a huge player in the smartphone market the Acer Liquid Express is looking like a decent budget Android smartphone with the cool NFC on-board. We still think Acer could have slipped in a bit of extra processing power but it’s still a bargain.
