Vodafone has just nipped in ahead of Three by releasing stock of the Nokia Lumia 800 Windows Phone in its variant Cyan Blue colour from today!
New and existing Vodafone customers can enjoy upgrading to the 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 512MB of RAM with 16GB storage and connectivity to SkyDrive and the updated Windows Phone OS which is presented on a 3.7” 800 x 480 resolution WVGA display. Pricing starts £139 for the handset on a £41-per-month / 12-month contract. This includes 600 call-time minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data with 2GB of BT Openzone Wi-Fi access. The Lumia 800 is also eligable for the Vodafone Test Drive, which allows a three month trial to discover your data usage and perfect price plan.
The confusion over the Lumia 800’s staggered release dates continues, with Cyan variants flying out even before some stores have started selling the standard issue handset. Who will get the new Nokia and when? We do know the elusive Nokia/Windows offering is set to touch down on the O2 network next Friday.
