Just recently LG announced that the company has renewed its partnership with Prada, in order to produce more branded smartphones for the fashion fans.
Not long after announcing the renewed partnership, LG has started to send out invitations for an LG Prada event which will take place in London on the 14th of December, and therefore I’m guessing it’s likely we’ll see a new Prada branded smartphone.
And If you’re interesting in keeping an eye on rumoured devices circulating various tech blogs (like us), I’m guessing you’ll think it will probably be the currently unofficial Prada K2, which has popped up on the rumour mill.
It’s believed that the Prada K2 will feature a 4.3-ich IPS LCD capacitive screen with WVGA (480 x 800) resolution, be only 8.8mm thick, have an 8MP camera on-board, and also be Android powered.
Also, if you’re after an interesting fact (sort of), LG Prada phones we’re among the first non-Apple devices to utilise the capacitive screen technology which is now used in virtually every handset on the market.
Anyway, 8 days from now we’ll be able to see exactly what LG’s intentions are, and should it be the announcement of a new smartphone, you can be assured we’ll give you the low down.
