Apple are back to wish its faithful an App-y Christmas (Yeah, just dropped a modern Yule cliché) – with the return of the annual 12 Days of Christmas app, which just like the old tune, delivers a new gift for your iPhone, iPod Touch and iPod ever day of the festive period!
It’s no secret that Apple aficionados flock to the popular tech like wise men to the Star of Bethlehem during the Christmas buying season, so as a reward to existing Apple owners and those looking forward to finding an iPhone 4S with Siri stuffed in their stocking this year, Apple is bringing back the scheme between December 26th and January 6th – with a selection box of goodies given away daily. This could include music, games, ebooks and much more!
The 12 Days of Christmas can be downloaded today from the iTunes App Store in preparation for the Boxing Day gift-giving launch on gadgets including iPhone 3GS and above, iPod Touch 3rd and 4th gen and both versions of iPads running iOS 3.4 or later. Knowing you don’t have any of these gadgets, but have still been good all year, Apple are kindly providing a desktop alternative delivering an app on December 26th.
Last year’s 12 Days of Christmas app gifts included music from Cheryl Cole and Kings of Leon, an episode of Doctor Who, a David Guetta music video bundle and that infamous Father Ted Christmas Special!
More info and that download can be found at 12 Days of Christmas – App Store
