Further proof that a Nokia Windows Phone Lumia 900 exists has come in the form of a some legit looking promotion and a new video from OS provider Microsoft itself!
From new images presumed to be used in the marketing of new variant colours of the recently released Lumia 800, eagle-eyed tech afficionades have noted that the dimensions of the gadget seen in print do not match that of Nokia’s debut Mango mobile, but in fact the screen appears much larger, indicating the rumours we have that it’s successor, the Lumia 900, will be larger than the standard 3.7″ display of the former “Sea Ray” model currently in distribution. The imagery also reveals a front facing camera, a feature that is absent from the 800 which was launched in the UK in late November to widespread sell out.
Another clue, as mentioned, come direct from Microsoft through the WindowsUKLive YouTube channel. In a new video entitled “Windows Phone – Hotmail in 3 easy steps” a woman guides us through linking our Nokia Windows Phone to our Microsoft email service. You may notice, however, that this phone looks a lot like the Lumia 800, but again, the phone is much too large to be our familiar Lumia 800.
A recent tweet from the Swiss Telecom company may have also given us a rough idea of when to expect the thus far unconfirmed Nokia Lumia 900 will be released, stating “end of Feb“. And other rumours have suggested that the Lumia 900 will feature that all-new ‘Mango’ update for Microsoft’s mobile OS Windows Phone, will run on a 1.4GHz CPU with a 4.3” AMOLED screen (which the model seen in the video seems close to having).
