HTC Netherlands has unthawed an “Ice White” variant of its popular flagship smartphone, the Sensation, and if the obligatory monotone mobile isn’t cool enough, factor in that this one comes hand-in-hand with the newest Google Android upgrade, 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
It’s the norm now for a successful smartphone to get a pale edition when interest starts to wane a little or when superior contenders touch down on the market from rival manufacturers and in a press release HTC reveals that the spec behind this cold-as-ice variant will exactly resemble its original predecessor which was released back in April 2011.
That means 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm CPU 768 of on board RAM with 1GB storage, 8-megapixel rear camera complimented by an LED Flash and auto-focus and 1.2-megapixel front-facer for video calling. The display on offer is 4.3” of LCD qHD touch screen with 540 x 960 resolution. Android ICS will come as standard benefitting from HTC’s native Sense interface.
The HTC Sensation in “Ice White” will arrive in Europe on March 1st.
