Samsung will be bringing out its next social-smart teen budget aimed mobile in a few short weeks with the Tocco Lite 2 arriving in the UK this March.
The Tocco Lite 2, just like its predecessor (pictured) which costs around £60, should find its niche in the low-end budget-friendly sector of the mobile market and the gadget will cut those costs by including Samsung’s native TouchWiz operating interface, but without the fancy Android software of higher regarded smartphones. If you can live without Google’s OS, don’t know what that even is, want a cheap spare handset, or are a new to owning a mobile, you will easily benefit from a respectable inexpensive phone which delivers QVCA quality display on a 3-inch 320 x 240 resolution TFT screen, a 3.2-megapixel camera and access to Samsung’s multi-platform messaging feature, ChatOn.
Samsung’s UK Telecoms spokesperson says “Our range of Tocco devices have been among our best selling over the past few years. Thanks to the incredible response we’ve had to the original Tocco Lite and Tocco Icon handsets, we’re excited to now be offering our customers improved social networking and enhanced multimedia capabilities with the Tocco Lite 2”
The gadget is unfortunately yet to be seen in pictures, or get a fixed release date with price. But the Gadget Helpline will follow this one up to bring you the latest news on the Samsung Tocco Lite 2 as it breaks.
